Yeah I've been collecting tools since I was really young so needless to say I'll bring a good spread.

 

Will keep that in mind for when some free time comes up. Fortunately it's not really a problem for me since it's not throwing a code, more so just an annoyance to have to reclick in the pump like 5 times a tank

What's "the steps"? You guys went down Lookout?

 

I did the right side of the steps going up (the one most of us usually don't do) and Chris @Sandtaco didn't press record on his phone
edit: just saw he already posted that lol

@Mike likes Tacos the steps are where that fork in the Rowher 4x4 trail is going up it from Bouquet...you either go left and climb that one rock or you stay to the right and climb the 'steps', the right line is a lot trickier. Were you with us that one time we came across those 2 kids in the old beat up Toyota pick up? That's where we found them, by the steps...they were stopped there because they were afraid to go down.

Anyone doing a run this Sunday? might try to get the yxz in the dirt, don't think I can wait until glamis for presidents day

 

Thanks for coming out Chris! Was good to see you again and wheel together, those trails we explored beyond Drinkwater were really cool. Some lesser traveled black diamond looking stuff way out there by the reservoir, we'll have to venture back out there again soon to try those out.

 

OK. I went up that at our last night run right? I cruised right up that thing. I bet that 1st Gen made it look really easy!

Gold Mountain is a lot of fun, I'm down to go again but probably not until after the new year...got our Mojave trip this weekend then holiday craziness until after the 1st

I can hold off to the following Friday since I'm off on Fridays. I have to confirm I have nothing else going on though. Lets make a tentative date for it.

Ratchet straps and oh shit bars are super underrated, and save the day in a pinch, when you're steering collum collapses and fall into your lap.
