Yeah the main Rowher Trail is between staging areas 2 and 3...keep driving past the first staging area (staying on the main dirt road) and you'll pass it between the next two. It's kinda hard to spot on your left because it dips down at a sharp angle, it's easier to spot on your right if you go all the way to the third staging area and turn around and head back.

Boom! That is the exact trail I am talking about. I have done it a few times stock it is pretty easy and fun. For some reason a jeep guy one day was super surprised that I made it to the top coming up Rowher trail. Made me feel good but also made me think he was possibly looking down on my truck, lol

 

haha, well he is driving a Jeep so he's probably more used to things breaking

@MADSTEEZE @digitaLbraVo and I did that exact trail last weekend all the way to the end, it has it's moments but overall it's not that hard, I'm a stock height 2004 with no aftermarket armor and I got through it alright, just a couple tricky spots I had to watch my clearance on.

 

Maybe he figured you were 2 wheel drive?

I'm thinkin a quick breakfast sandwich at Jack in the morning. I'm gonna bring a cooler with some drinks fo r everybody and a lunch.

 

If a 2wd made it up that trail I'd be really impressed lol

 

I'd bet with a locker and a half decent wheel man you'd be just fine in a 2 wheel drive... Most "interesting" part would be descending those last inclines with no 4Lo! But going backwards? I cannot see a 2 wheel drive truck picking up enough momentum to actually make it through all those inclines... and that rock portion that @Karazi TEQ nearly rolled at... I dunno mang!

Yeah that last descent in 2wd would be scary as hell relying just on your brakes....I would not want to be the guy in front of the 2wd guy attempting that lol.

 

btw if we have any 2wd guys coming at the big meet, according to this article if you go just up Bouquet Canyon Road another 500 yards or so there's another entrance that's not nearly as steep and 2wd friendly, the trails meet at the top of the hill.
