@uhplifted With the Bonavita do you use paper filters in it or a wire mesh filter? I'm trying to get away from the paper filter deal and flavor loss with the paper filters sucking up all those essential oils.

I'm up! 17 hour shift again last night. Time for some tea. Been steering clear of coffee lately but I do enjoy a good cup of joe.

I like Caveman Coffee. Its single source and I use a French press. I toss in coconut oil for medium chain triglycerides, a dash of sea salt, and some kerrygold butter. Talk about everlasting energy. Caveman also makes some bomb cold brew.

Folgers coffee.. Ill never be too good for that or cowboy coffee (instant coffee) around a campfire. Speaking of campfire coffee I got this doo-dad from my TWSS. Bpa free plastic, insulated jacket, and makes a solid cup of joe. Stoked on this for surviving trail abuse.

Speaking of campfires, I picked up 2 more Xmas trees from the curb of my neighbors this morning. That brings the total to 6 Xmas trees I have for Superstition. I dont even know if I can transport that many trees at once. At this point, collecting Xmas trees is like a drug for me. If anything, ill take some to my local fish and game. They drop them in lakes to give fish more places for fish to fuck. Or something like that.

There's free coffee here too if you don't mind the taste of dirt. Only problem is it's a small pot and there's 50+ people going for it so it's almost always empty.

Damn. I missed all this coffee talk.

Aero Press and Black Rifle Coffee, black, with none of those sissy additives, for me.

Tea: go back to England. The Boston Tea Party settled that debate.

As for coffee and taking a shit, I must not be normal because it does nothing to me. Maybe because I've been a coffee fiend since I was 9 years old when I would go with my dad in his big rig and I would try to stay up with him when he's driving.

So far, the Aero Press is king for me. I get the full flavor of a good black coffee with no acidity or bitterness.
