Word. I have Verizon. I get nada. Which, in the middle of Americas biggest off road race; that's fine with me. What's the cover again? The site I'm looking at I only see "take cash" but I don't see a price.

I would suggest setting up a gps coordinates everyone can meet at because once your there it's crazy. Like a small city and last year they had a head count of 75k throughout the week

AT&T is VERY SPOTTY. When we rode bikes all around there yesterday I don't think I had any service at all

Werd. It was 20 last year. It grows every year so I'm just curious if its gone up any. Ill bring cash in different denominations. Have you looked at the list of costs that's paid to put it on? 22k for spectator jumbotrons and 30k for security just to make sure Cletus doesn't get out of line. And that BLM permit fee of 190k. Wowsers.

If there was 75K people last year the 190k blm fee is chump change.
    20 bucks a head at 75k people = 1,500,000
all those fees come out to 312,000
so they're still up by 1,188,000.

Vendor fees, race participant registration fees, etc. There's a ton of cash going into this.

I'm sure there are a lot more costs to holding such an event, but they definitely aren't losing money on this.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
