I remember wondering about that when you told me a long time ago that Toyota was replacing your boots under warranty, I figured Bob Smith must be a really cool place to do that even when it's obvious the lift is what's causing their failure lol. That's cool you got a few out of them though before they caught on.

 

Pretty cool of them to do it even "this one last time" fuckin' A!

 

Damn did you get extended lifetime warranty? 13 years later and it's still under warranty.

 

Probably got them replaced at cost at one point, Toyota warranties most of their repair work for a year. I know the Pasadena one warrantied my clutch for a year

 

Thats one hell of a warranty haha
No i paid once and it has 1 year from that i almost missed this one it was up in march.

 

I do have an extended powertrain warranty on my rig though and it's nearly paid for itself already, got my MAF, O2, air/fuel sensors and lower ball joints replaced with it.

 

I really need to look into the boot slide mod but it looks like a pain in the ass to do
And high cv boots are garbage from what i have heard

 

Ohhhhhh. I see. Every 11 months, "tear" the boot and get it replaced under their warranty.

 

I'm sure once you lower the front a bit it'll help a ton

2-8 months its been since i went to 3" lift

 

Time to tame it down a bit

 

Hittin speed bumps and intersection dips going 60 is what does it i think

 

I'm sitting at 2" in the front on mine and the boots look great, no rubbing at all. I'm a little worried with the SAW's that I picked up though that that might change, they're set to 2.5" so we'll see.

 

I'm heading to rowher flats to cruise the trails meet me there I will have my radio. What's the frequency we always use?

Front diff drop kit just came today

 

Just got back from rowher. I had no trouble but some dude was stuck out there and about to spend the night he was glad I came along.

 

Also discovered my supercharger pulley slips when it gets wet.
