Trd also makes a pad for our trucks. I've installed them on handful of trucks. If I don't go bigger on my brakes I'll probably go that route. Just make sure you gonthru the break in process.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Regular pad or are you referring to the TRD brake kit that's like $2500?

Haha i'd say better but not excessive.

BTW- Stop Tech makes the rotors and pads for the TRD kits. You can buy from Stop Tech and skip the markup in TRD branding. I would have gone that route but the deal I got from EBC was too good to pass up, and equally happy with them.

(Facts from Stop Tech rep who came to my work)

    So Mr. Brake hookup.... :boink:

What's the difference with the green vs. other pads? Looks like Orange are "light truck/jeep/SUV" pads

    :poking: Whatchu want!

EBC Orange is a race pad, ebc heavy duty (ironically also orange) is a heavy duty pad. Almost twice the price of green, but more geared towards a commercial application with heavy weight and frequent mellow stops and a super long life span.

For our trucks you'd be looking at green or yellow.
Green is for a modest improvement, yellow is the real trick one. Handles high heat very well and will stop you more quickly, but a lot of dust and less life.

Yeah I started to find that after posting that. Looks like for us is: green > red > yellow? But they even say red works best for "Works best on heavier, higher powered hatchbacks, saloons and sedans (use YellowStuff pads for lighter hatchbacks, sports cars and compacts)" And green is a "light upgrade"

Mind PMing me any deals you can get on an EBC kit? I'll likely forget to look again until Thursday...

For our trucks it's ultimax > green > yellow. the heavy duty pads kinda fit in their own category.
Ultimax is a cheap stock replacement, nothing fancy there.
Green has 6000 and 7000 options. 6000 is a bit softer and more dust, 7000 is a bit harder, longer lasting and less dust.
Yellow is there most aggressive pad for heat (fade) resistance.

It just hit me that with too much braking power you have a great possibility of locking up the rotors in dirt...

All of the stuff that I'm ready to build this week is for second and third gens, but once first gen stuff starts rolling out I'll hit you up. Also if you decide to start shopping for high lift mounts or other mounting solutions hit me up and if I'm at a point where I have some free time we can get going on developing something.

Who made those pull out drawers inside their bed? I think it was either @Kens04Taco or maybe @snowboard704 or someone else? I can't find it in the millions of pages while on the phone.
