We should be done around 1pm. I think you'll have enough time to make it to work

We're going to start at 9am and it usually takes about 3 hours to do give or take...that puts us around noonish. More depending how much we stop to take pics and bs. Also depends on how many ppl do the off shoots and if there's any issues. It's a smaller group, so I don't anticipate any problems with that though

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Dang. Up in Santa Maria we got about 2hrs of some shower and then it cleared up. Cold night!

Hammers was ill. Now off to Joshua tree with the homie @Oneluv13T4R

Update: And only took us 10 hrs to go 40 miles. Took a gnarly offshoot off berdoo called Fried Liver Wash. I know why they call it fried liver. Cause you're gonna wanna fry that liver with beer *if* you finish. We finished about 1am. I mangled every skid, slider, and bumper I have. My homie took some good damage as well

Edit: visual inspection of my truck shows heavy and deep scratches all over. Skids are gouged to shit (thank goodness I went steel), drive shaft is marred, wheels are tore up. Tires are in good shape. Good times.

Man it was muuuddddy in certain parts. I felt us doing the sideways shuffle down as soon as we came off the fire road. Skinny pedaled out of it and came back out. Thank god I engaged my locker or we woulda been sol. We had fun though

Finishing the rear trimming today then tossing the fenders back on. Loving the 35s so far. Powerloss is barely noticable. Would probably notice it more if I went straight from stock to these. Regear in the near future anyways. Anybody looking to make the jump let me know I'm happy to help with the trimming. It's all pretty easy.

Anybody have experience installing a HAM radio under the seat? I have a detachable face model and I'm looking for ideas.

I know about relocation kits, but I have no experience of doing such mounts. I mean, I don't even know if you have to remove the actual seat, LOL?! I would think that you would want to in order to do a legit type job if you are to mount it under the seat???

Now, doing a bit of research, someone did bring up a good point, "if mounted under the seat, it could get potential water damage..." Now, albeit, that was from some Jeep forum, but I've seen videos of people driving their taco's a bit too deep in water and also mentioning how wet their floorboards were. Now, I doubt you'll do this, but they are still good points either way "I" look at it. :notsure:

Do you have an access cab? Maybe in some compartment in the back or something? You may have to "extend" the wires at this point though. Maybe the center console somehow???

Someone even suggested and did, to slip the radio mounting bracket through the springs under the seat! :eek:o_O I don't personally recommend this because of the fairly violent stresses that some people put on their trucks (i.e. high speed desert wash runs, etc).

    Just throwing ideas out there???

sup fella's  been a little MIA lately. Turns out being in a new relationship is about as expensive as owning a Tacoma and having a wheeling habit :rain: Had to scale back some lol. At least for the time being. May be game for a run this weekend if there's anything happening.

@Mike likes Tacos those new wheels/tires look sick!
