It's pretty fun! I beat the hell out my truck when I was ifs with a rear locker and spacer lift and did maybe half of the trails out there lol

I'm in California as of now yeah, I don't officially live up north as of yet (doing work around the house to sell it) before I go up.

    You don't need that much!

Pretty much whenever we feel like taking off, but most likely Sunday around noon

Aka deep creek trail. I have! Its mostly tire placement and yes, steel skids are needed. Sliders are used as tool (pivots) and not so much for protections did it in 31.8" Duratracs. The look of the boulders can be spooky. Go with experienced spotters.

When I did it back in October or November the club that takes care of it put a large boulder in the middle of a waterfall with no bypass, it would be rough trying to get up it with anything less than 35s.

    :pccoffee: Morning all!
Well my truck through a P0125 (insufficient coolant temp for closed loop fuel control) and P0300 (random misfire) on my way to work this morning :frusty:. Only been able to do a bit of research so far but i'm finding 2 different possibilities, a stuck open thermostat and/or a bad O2 post-cat sensor. Was wondering if any of you have ran into this before?

This is what i found for the P0125..... have you done anything to your truck recently ?
    • Check the operation of the thermostat (it may be stuck open)
    • * ECT sensor signal circuit has high resistance
    • * ECT sensor has failed
    • * Inspect for low coolant level or an incorrect coolant mixture

and for the P0300 https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/engine-code-p0300.288642/ this might help.

Thanks @SlipperyTaco, only thing i've done recently is top off the coolant (both radiator and bottle) it was low after JT but after topping it off it spewed some out from the bottle. Thanks for the link too, i'll be doing some reading when i can so i can do some diag when i get home.

Np  and nice meeting you and your wife in JT. I have never experienced any error codes on my truck so i have no personal experience with them seems the 0125 you can get rid of easy enough maybe it didnt like the coolant you used could always try to drain everything and refill?
the 0300 looks like it can be a nightmare but it seems a seafoam treatment has cured it for some people. but others needed to replace a cracked piston.

you too man, it was good times and too short! You lucky bastard dude
I've stuck with toyota coolant, never deviated. I'm kinda hoping it's just the thermostat, had to do the pump last year. but i'm going to pin out the 02 sensors when i get home and i guess go from there.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
