I'm sure it'll hold up, my issue is setting up/putting away with the wind blowing like crazy. Just makes it that much more annoying lol

 

The wind in LA alone is nuts. Just sleep in your cab haha. Have fun out there. Hoping bishop won't be too bad tomorrow and Saturday

 

Going out on Saturday to El Mirage for a little for some offroading.

 

Supposedly this windstorm is supposed to die down by tomorrow afternoon, but it's always a little windy out at Rowher so I imagine it's still going to be somewhat windier than usual at least tomorrow night. I'm out here in the San Gabriel Mtn foothills and there are gusts of wind out here trying to take my roof off...

 

Well hopefully it does, either way I'm prepared to to sleep in my truck if I have to lol but yeah the winds are pretty crazy right now and trees falling all over the place.

 

Just heard on the radio today that the windstorm is continuing through tomorrow night and is supposed to be the worst out in the Santa Clarita Valley....right where we're going to be haha.

 

Tents and Paracord and we can parasail.

 

Oh well, at least I know where I'm sleeping tonight lol

 

For real...my girlfriend and her brother are coming along. We've got claim on the bed of my truck with the softopper but the poor kiddo is going to have to brave the one man tent lol.

 

He's 6'4", not sure how comfy that would be in a 1st gen access cab lol. But it might be better than the tent still.

 

I've got a one person tent, so it's not hard at all to set up. So hopefully I'll get at least 15 min of no wind to set it up lol

It's more comfy than sleeping in a tent, especially in the wind. I'm about 2 inches shorter, slept in the cab almost every camping trip

 

So he can listen to his sister and Ryan playing around.lmao. Scar the kid for life right there

Got few things I gotta do after work but going to try be up the by 8 drop off some fire wood and drink couple beers but I got work in the morning

 

Figure out which way the wind is blowing and put the tents on the opposite side of the truck. I did that by accident when I camped at Pismo and it was the best accident I have ever done LOL.

 

Getting packed now. I'll be leaving around 6:30. Without traffic it's a 25 minute drive. See how it goes.
