Well I just ordered and ARE CX Shell with Windoors and a driver side toolbox.
Main reason for the shell is with two kids now there is no place to put anything other than the bed which is fine unless it rains your you want some type of security so things like strollers and bags don't walk off.

If there was a money tree i would have the S/C installed already by paying someone to do it.

Wow. Havent seen a bfg side wall like that before. I'm always grinding on rocks and thought they were indestructable...
Gotta at least get some 33s man. You'll barely notice gas mileage loss.

I went straight to PMing him. Says he hasn't logged on since yesterday so at least he's not blowing me off. I'll hopefully have someone pick it up for me, or I'll make the drive down there but for sure I want them on before MJT, if it gets set for the 17th.

Honestly I think it happened somewhere along the line when we were doing the Mojave Trail last December, but I'm not sure. Seemed to happen almost overnight on them and on all 4. They still hold up great (E load ftw), but still makes me a little nervous.

How long have you had them? I didn't like they way my BFGs wore, it was quick. I already have more miles on my Falkens and they've worn less.

They looked brand new when I got my truck a little over a year ago, but the truck only had 24k miles on it so who knows how old the tires actually were.

I've put about 22k on them myself...I noticed the chunking on the treads first but the sidewall rash started happening recently and abruptly. Not gonna lie, I beat the crap out of them especially with how often we were all wheeling together last year. So I have no complaints, they've held up great considering what I put them through. But they're starting to worry me a bit now lol.

Hmm sounds like they may be on the older side then, just degradation over time in the rubber, but I didn't see any cracks in your pics. Yeah, the chunking was the thing I didn't like.

I'm looking at Falkens next actually just to try something different, and Walmart has them on sale for the E loads. So many frickin tire choices out there though it makes me just want to say fuck it and go KO2s again

Having owned both, I honestly like my Falkens better than the K02s, they don't have the load rating/reinforced sidewalls of the BFGs but that isn't something that I need. What I liked most is the Falkens were 180 a tire as opposed to the BFGs that were 240 a tire, which I think is ludicrous.

Yeah KO2s have gotten pricy with popularity. Walmart has em for $200 a pop right now in E load though, 265/75 so I'm torn lol.
