I just went with 488s too. Although for 33s auto trans

Couldn't imagine 37s loaded with the same gearing :notsure:

    Maybe in a 5 speed

At 70 mph, 35's, and 5th gear I'm at 3100 rpms. Right in the power band I guess. A little higher than I would like

4.88 with 33's and an auto trans would be brutal on the freeway but great around town. I didn't even like 4.56's and 33's but I really didn't need the power. I'd prefer to keep the 3.73's but I also want to be able to do more than 20mph thru a silt bed, so I'm going back to to 4.88 and once I get a tundra rack I'll go 37's to make the Roma somewhat reasonable

    Yea maybe on the 4.0

I was on the fence about 456/488s and I'm glad I went with the 488s. Easy on the trans, stays in the power at highway without sacrificing a huge mph hit, great around town or at elevation.

    If I had a 5 speed I would have gone 456 with the 33s

Ya if you have a manual, do not regear for 33'a unless you have a slit between your legs. 255/85's and my 5 speed were absolutely perfect. Best gearing combo I've ever had

Agreed. Would have been a different story with a 5speed

I'd love to but my truck is down for a little while. Front suspension totally torn apart in preparation for new upper control arms (thanks to one phone call to Dirt King), Spindle Gussets (thanks to @glorifiedwelder), new bushings and uniballs for my lower Dirtking control arms. Also my new 35's and wheels are sitting in Utah. @Mike likes Tacos Although, I'm not opposed to ridding shot gun and playing spotter all day.

Dakars shows up today but probably won't get them installed this weekend since the bushings, U bolts, etc.. aren't here.

Ended up having to do the light pack + AAL because Headstrong was out of the heavy pack and ARB USA is also out. Apparently ARB didn't think the heavy pack would sell as well as it has and they aren't expecting anymore in until maybe September.
Price difference was only +25 bucks. Annoying but won't kill me.

Any of you guys on here from around the Monrovia/Arcadia area? Just signed a lease for a 2 bdrm house with my girlfriend right near the downtown Monrovia area.

Gonna miss the Sunland/Tujunga area but it's going to be nice being closer to Pasadena where I work
