Was actually thinking of doing something this Saturday (possibly can do Sunday) if anyone else is up for it, you free?

I haven't wheeled in 2 months I think, I really need to get out and hit some dirt. Doesn't matter to me where at, though I'd like to do White/Gold Mountain again soon.

HS isn't getting my Kings in until the "week of" the 15th...the wait, it hurts....

Id hate to have to play against me too. Finals in 2 leagues last year with a championship in one of them.

I would love to but can't this weekend.

Lots of prep to start the new job on Monday and I'm getting a horrible clunk from suspension on both sides that is getting worse. I think it may be the lower ball joints.

 

I'd be surprised if it was the LBJs...you don't really hear of them failing on 2nd gens like you do on 1st gens (much better design on the 05s+)...esp with your truck being relatively newer. Have you checked out the LCA cam bolts? IIRC @stvstoy had the same issue and that's what it turned out to be; alignment techs didn't torque them right or something like that.

 

@Maggot61 and @Mike likes Tacos the same issue with can tabs.

 

Maybe they have worked themselves loose after 67000 miles. I have never had an alignment done on the truck.

 

Can't hurt to check, both are pretty easy to look at anyhow. Or it could possibly be the sway bar links being loose too (if you're still running one). That's what my mystery clunk turned out to be last year

 

I'd start by checking torque on everything in the front. Does it do it when parked turning the wheel back and forth? If so have somebody stick there head under there and look at steering rack bushings. If it's not either of those make another post cause I got more stuff you can check. I just went thru this and a bunch of other stuff on my truck. I had a combination of clunk noises.lol
