"Wheeler's Anonymous"

An alignment tech didn't even tighten my passenger front cam bolt last alignment. Hand tight at best!

 

Please list all clunk locations. I got pops and cracks and clunks coming from my front end bad. When I'm stopped turning the wheel from lock to lock, rolling and turning into a parking spot, coming to a stop at a red light, accelerating from a stop, going up into a driveway, going down a driveway, climbing over rocks, coming down off a ledge, pretty much anytime. No sway bar by the way.

 

-Torque LCA and UCA bolts to spec
-Wheel alignment can be off. If you normally go to the same place it may be worth having a different shop do it especially if you do not run factory specs.
-Turn wheel back and forth while somebody looks at your steering rack bushings. You will see movement and noise here if its the problem.
-Worn out UCA uniballs. Remove the UCA bolt and check for play in uniball.
-Broken misalignment spacer on shocks. They can break from abuse and I've seen em get rusty and break. I had one side of my kings break within a year.
-Loose or worn tie rod end
-Bent spindle
-Lower ball joints. Check for torn boot.
- Drive shaft U joint or carrier bearing. Check for play in the drive shaft

I'll run it by the g/f, her brother's in town from Sac and she really wants us to show him Big Bear but I'll run this by her and see what she says; if we do White Mountain/Gold Mountain in BB we'll be doing it solo and that always freaks her out, lol. I'll let you know

 

I was just offering a run to do is all. Plus at the end we are headed to get pizza and people can purchase raffle tix for total chaos merch, lca, uca, bed stiffeners and support a local womens offroad team.
