Just because you can read it doesnt mean it was directed at you. I was quoting a post that i explained myself in. That post was not yours. So much like ease dropping, You can hear and its not directed at you but, comment anyway.

But you explained yourself and then said you weren't going to. I'm confused. You either did or didn't

I guess I'll look out for big rocks in the road also and not try to climb them since I don't have skids

Yep I'm locked. Did White Mtn solo a couple months ago (actually I think that was the last trip I did) and all was well...was a little hard to stay on the trail at times unlike the much shorter Gold Mountain but most of the side trails were marked on my GPS so we found our way back OK. White Mountain wasn't quite as hard as Gold but much more remote and a lot longer from from what I remember.

Made it through Gold Mountain today, it's a tougher trail than I remember it being last year.

Trail damage...had to hug a tree and slid into it

Yeah I got lucky it was just enough of a slip to only crush the back of the mirror and not the door panel or something.
Came up on a convoy of 9 rigs from a FB group called 'Rookie Offroad'...most of them were newbies and watching them try to climb the shelves that make Gold Mountain tough without lockers was entertaining; you could tell they were learning a lot which was cool. Had to go around them though cause they were taking forever on some spots. Oh and someone came down the trail in a brand new stock Honda crossover AWD SUV lol, they had to have beat the hell out of the bottom of that thing. Makes you wonder what special kind of crazy someone is to attempt that, granted they were going down it and not up but still.

I didn't think to look at the plates but I almost wonder if it was a rental.
