Yeah that's my new dilemma, I don't have a garage where I can mount vice grips to...maybe I'll just take them to the gym with me, find the biggest dude there and bet him a protein shake that he can't hold both ends of the shock still, lol.

damn if I had that kind of droop I could adjust mine all day long :annoyed:

I had to adjust mine one day and my vice was broken, I drilled 3 holes in a 2x4 and secured the top hat of the shock to it, just like how it would be mounted in the truck. I stood on said 2x4 and made shit happen.

    Check Build thread
Might need temporarily longer top bolts for them to go through the 2x4

But you'd only need 3 cheap ones. That idea is good

Well I hooked up my 20" light bar to my
Bumper this weekend on my 04.. and I go to start the truck and my truck is idling at like 200 and dying and was running like absolute shit. So I said fuck it and ripped the harness out. And took about 15-20 miles of driving to get it to idle normal again... any thoughts ?? Harness had a relay and fuse. And only 2 wires one for my battery (red) one for negative or ground ? Black... the other wires went to the switch / or to the actual light bar (1 red, 1 black). The relay had a small metal
Bracket but didn't know if it was a ground or just to bolt it into something ? I hooked it to a ground or just a metal bolt connected to the hood.

Both ! When I connected the terminals back up with truck off I accidentally had the switch on . So the bar turned on but I quickly turned it off no big deal? So I started the truck up and immediately idle was low... when it was just idling normal pre installation.. light bar turned off and on still. But truck was dying .

My truck always acts silly when I disconnect the battery. Every time I disconnect the battery for over 15 minutes it idle rough and even turn off. Then after about 20 minutes it's back to normal. My mom's sequoia would do the same thing so I figured it to be normal.

Anytime you disconnect the negative terminal for longer than 5-10 minutes it resets your computer. Hook your light back up and drive around for 15-20 minutes and see if it all returns back to normal.
I've disconnected my battery and when I hooked it back up the truck would die. Needed to drive around for awhile and it sorted itself out.
I carry the scan gauge II but idk if that'll work.
    Exactly.

@jtanner21 you can take your truck to AutoZone and they'll test your battery and alternator for free. Had mine done awhile back.

Oh and x2 on the truck idling low after a battery disconnect, mine does too but goes back to normal after driving around a bit.

Nice, that's a great warranty. At least CV axles are able to be repaired on the spot if you have spares lol. Reminds me I have to keep an eye on my boots now that the angles are questionable with more front lift, wasn't really something I had to worry about before. So when's she going to be sea/dirt worthy again?
