Ill be in Mammoth last week of june for the Mammoth motocross race. I've never heard of the trail, do you have a link with any info on it? I'd be down to hit it or find any others trails to rip up

Yep done it. Went with a big group to Bodie Ghost Town and also went up to Wheeler Crest. The views are awesome and the trail was easily done in my mostly stock rig. Have you searched the web for info about the area? How many days are you planning on?

There is potential for some scratches up there. Bring a saw for some tree branches just in case.

The trail can be done in one day up and back but it will be a long day. If you go up there in the morning you will have more than enough time. I would suggest camping off the crest trail somewhere. It is amazing country and should be savored.
