I currently have a 1.5" AAL lift in the rear and it rides poorly. (Every Wisconsin road is full of cracks and or pot holes) My left rear sits slightly lower than the right rear. I'm planning on replacing the single AAL with a 3 leaf AAL and adding a 1/2" shim to correct the lean. I've heard that a rear spacer shim is often ineffective with the stock leaf pack because the left side weight bias overcomes the shim due to the leafs being so weak.

So here's the question; since I'm adding a 3 leaf multi pack, do you think the 1/2" shim would actually help?

I'm also thinking about doing a 1" block on the left and a 1/2" block on the right. It's a mall crawler so I doubt I'll have ride quality issues.
