My original inquiry was on getting cheaper shipping and I was told yes, followed by your quote which I agreed to. Not gonna argue semantics here. Even if I got it wrong, you have a customer that just ate half of what he paid you originally for returning a brand new piece of metal. Who shipped it back to you for almost half of what you charged to ship to me AND I had to pay for both. Whether it’s a policy or not, it sucks. So Im just posting this as a warning to be absolutely certain you won’t need to return anything from Wheelers. Also at the ridiculous shipping costs you charge when free shipping is easily available. You obviously mark up your shipping.

Dude, we get it. You are pissed off. You are shitting on this thread, relentlessly bashing a vendor with a sterling reputation and say shit like "I am not going to bad mouth" while you bad mouth them. They (@Wheeler's Off-Road Inc) have replied to you in a professional manner and you continue. We all get what you claim happened but due to the years of outstanding service we have received from them we just don't care.
You claim to have been screwed on the shipping but did you return it with the same carrier at the same delivery rate as you received it? FedEx is way more then say USPS and getting something 2nd day is much more than say ground. I expect your lost dollars are somewhere in that maze.
I run a business also, I lose my ass when people return stuff because you never get it back in the same condition it was sent out in. I pay my employees to pull it, prepare it, time to invoice and for the packaging then if I get something back it has to be received, repaired most of the time then stocked. Not to mentioned I have normally already ordered a replacement so then I have dead inventory. That stuff adds up.

I don’t care if you care or not. I’m just posting up MY experience. And I shipped it the same method they did and never opened anything so your example doesn’t really apply. I’m simply posting my experience with them and I never once bashed the actual service I got. I just don’t get why shipping is inflated but many give it free especially from a large company.

 

Yep, and it’s why I’ll never buy from these guys again. If they can’t stay competitive they’ll eventually die out. Business is business. You either evolve and adapt or die out. Sad, as I’m actually pro-mom and pop shops. And I fight for the little guy. But not when I get raped like I did and they laugh all the way to the bank.

Now, the good part is that they did offer good help and service. Amazon won’t do that. But money talks.
