Only time I see 5100s snap like that is when people are doing some crazy stunts out on some dirt etc. OME will break at that same spot as I’ve seen it happen before. Maybe you need something stronger...

If they’re in stock ask about Bilstein 6112s as they’re bigger and stronger. And of course there is the big brand kits, 6112 is a bit more cost friendly.

Just my opinion, button answer your question. Headstrong all day. I don’t like how wheelers doesn’t give you an estimated shipping cost. Otherwise wheelers is a good company.

    Good luck

I was actually just creepin on a dirt road on the property when it happened. I have beat the shit out of this truck though. I was thinking about 6112's but a kit just seemed like the way to go but now youve got me second guessing myself.

6112 is a lot beefier especially where the 5100s snapped.

This guy I follow on IG bombs the crap out of his 6112s and has 20k+ miles701D0848-1DCA-4B2E-ADC2-C8901457F6C0.jpg

I know their not listed, but Shock Surplus is a great group of guys. They have some of the best prices I've seen on the 6112's. They ship for free also

She did me. I'm running a set of Fox's that are damn near useless for me. I told her the plans for my truck/future weight (armor) & she sold me shit that didn't coincide with those plans, or even for my (at that time) current situation. Then told me since I already installed them that I have no chance of returning them, even though the kit didn't do what it was advertised to do. It was like buying a blue marker & it only writing yellow.
HS had great customer service to get my money but no customer service after the purchase to make sure my $2,500 was well spent (total purchase was ~$2,800 but had other stuff I bought). I purchased these Fox's on her recommendation & it's been the biggest headache of $2,500 I've ever spent. I'm not cheap but $2,500 isn't chump change to anybody for a lift kit. I was willing to spend $4K to make my truck lifted right but this was her recommendation so I went w/it as I'm well versed in solid axle rigs but not IFS.
I'd say Wheeler's but I've never bought from them. I can surely say NOT HS!
I've brought this up in multiple threads but HS never responds to my posts. I'll be amazed if they respond to this post as they have no rebuttal for my $2,500 misfortune.
    Wheeler's FTW!

I'm a fan of Wheelers, but if you purchase from them, send them a PM first and they'll get you a discounted quote. That, combined with no sales tax may make them cheaper. I've only ever dealt with them and they're awesome. I've made maybe 6-7 separate purchases from them.

Modded it so much it turned into a 4Runner
Fox is garbage. I’ve been dealing with Headstrong since 2015 and have never had any problems or been mislead on anything.
