So here's my issue(or maybe not an issue)...

I'm riding on my Wheeler's Superbumps at normal ride height, they are in constant contact with my LCA's.

I'm considering cutting them. Thoughts on cutting them and or harm caused from riding on them constantly?

No harm done riding on them. Weird that you would be, are you weighed down with stuff but no suspension upgrades?

Don't cut em. You'll be fine without it. If you watch videos on em, they're very flexible.

I'm running Icon extended travel set at about 2.5" lift(Along with other front component changes) with no significant weight added to the front.

I've had personal experience with how flexible they are, Full compression over whoops @ around 40 mph and left my fender flares hanging off the side of my truck.

I'm perplexed. I don't know why you would be resting on them. I have them on a stock suspension and I don't rest on them. Do you have spacers mounted with them?

I am running 3/8" spacers to avoid ripping my flare off again until I take the leap of cutting fenders.

3/8" spacers on the super bumps? Must be because I'm at 1.75 and am not contacting at ride height. Something sounds janky.

So they are touching the control arm because they are spaced down. It isn't going to hurt anything. Is the ride bothering you? If not, leave them. If so, cut them. If you cut them a significant amount, they won't be as progressive and may compress a little more than they would have otherwise.

Not "janky" at all, but thanks for the responses. 3/8" spacers are sold by Wheelers to adjust max compression(tuning the bump).

That was my main question, "Will it cause any ill effects?". The ride is great, just seems odd to ride on them. Cutting was something that crossed my mind and I am questioning. I know a lot of bump stops can be trimmed to needed height, just wasn't sure about Superbumps.

Here's mine at almost full stuff. I have aftermarket arms so i have an extra metal spacer under mine which already have that 3/8 spacer on them. With the weight of the truck behind it these will compress more than this, like down to an inch or less...

Trimming is just something I was questioning...I love mine too.

I'm sure mine looked like that when I ripped my flare off last year. It appears I'm running a larger tire though (295/70r17), so I added the bump spacers to try and not do that again. I really don't want to cut the whole fender and flare until I jump up to 35's...some day .
