That is what I mentioned first, Some billie's for 180 just to get me "up" and going. After seeing my taxes last night, I'm not going to buy tires for now. So I doubt I'll make it.

Especially if you're not going to be able to make it this trip, I would just wait until you can afford what you really want. Even if they're cheap, there's no point in wasting $$ on 5100's just to replace them later.

There is always a market for 5100's, so reselling them wouldn't really be a problem. Lose a little on that and having my coils moved. There is a point I would be confortable with "losing" if it got me riding better for a while. But without tires, not worth doing anything at this point. Hopefully my tax guy can straighten me up and get me a refund.

Yeah, nothing wrong with doing a 5100 lift, and you could always put on eibach or OME coils with them later. I just meant I'd get what you want the first time, *shrug*

well just look at it this way brian. you wont be the only one not goin cuz they cant afford to equip their truck the way they want before the next adventure. i thought maybe jim would go ahead and get me some all pro sliders since he did place an order from them already but i guess i didnt sweet talk him enough when i was riding with him.

Sorry chief, don't swing that way, despite what I've written in this thread. :D

They come powdercoated black, but thanks. I figure they're on the underside, so I'll just touch them up with a rattle can when I have to.

yeah but allpros are only like 349 or something is the quote she gave plus shipping. so the extra 50 is worth it to me. i would have to pay that easy to get them welded on. plus then i could always take them off if i get rid of the truck.

Justin, I could go all engineer on you, but ill spare you the jargon. If done correctly, bolt ons will be just as strong if not stronger than weld ons.

i totally agree believe it or not ive actually got 3 years of being an engineering major under my belt. but one thing i like out of the all pros taht i have never seen out of any others either bolt on or weld on is the l bracket that actually reinforces the weaker c channel on the frame. that is truly what catches my eye and keeps my attention.

My Demello rock crushers have L brackets on all the supports. They don't run between each standoff, but where they attach to the frame they are 4" each. Not sure how many standoff's you get with the Allpro, but I have 5 on my DC LB per side.
