I think they are just giving you shit. Pretty funny name. I've been down in that area for work, and am pretty sure there is lots of wheeling.

    Dear Santa,

Please bring OP a sense of humor when you visit this Christmas. He obviously doesn't have one of his own and could make good use.

    Thanks,

im messing with you but im sure you will find a lot of stoners there...if its in californaia...and its called weed.

it looks like there are some lakes to the West and those would be cool to explore. im sure there are dirt roads there as well. im thinking you will be able to find a few trails if not a lot of dirt roads.

Poor OP, no one is answering his question 'cause we're too wrapped up in the name of the town, lol

I actually drove through Weed with my family on our move up to Portland, OR. Isn't Weed located right by Mt. Shasta? If so, I'm sure there are a ton of good trails up there. Being up in Northern Cali I bet there are many great 4x4 spots in general.

My girlfriend got me this book for my birthday, Guide to California Backroads and 4-Wheel-Drive Trails

    http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/gui...sid=Google_&sourceId=PLGoP648&k_clickid=3x648

...according to it there are many areas up by you. I recommend picking it up if you can, it's a great book and it maps out all the cool spots to check out, difficulty of the trails, length, locations, etc.

    Weed.....lol

I live a hour away from Mt. Shasta lots of cool trails all over there (most of them old logging trails) . Really nice steep trail in Redding out by Whiskeytown lake called Shasta Bally look it up. It is only open during summer.

    same shit as everyone else
Marble Mount Wilderness is pretty bad ass. I like to get lost out there a lot. Also check out siskiyou crest area and the pits of Klamath National Basin. I mean just drive west somewhere and its all bad ass. East is just wilderness forever until you get to Susanville

All sorts of wheeling around these parts. Like KalamaKid said, just drive. Plenty of places to explore.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
This thread title is highly misleading.
