Thanks for the warm welcome @Hercanstein .

I’m game with anywhere local. would like to keep it fairly easy as I’m still new to anything other than just driving around on old logging roads. My free day of the week is always Sunday.

I’m in Medford. I am looking to do single day trips for now. Maybe once all the craziness passes I can get into overnights and camping.

Maybe explore some trails by Applegate reservoir?

I have taken the road near the end of the reservoir that comes out at the Applegate Restaurant & Lodge, but haven't explored any of the offshoots.

Who is up for a trip next Sunday 6/14/20?

I didn't realize the weekend of the 21st was father's day weekend.

Gives us plenty of time to plan for one the next weekend on the 28th.

Anyone planning to go have a suggestion of which trails to explore?

Welcome Murse! Be glad to have you on a trail ride!

    Happy Trails!

Had some time to kill today so decided to check out one of my favorite spots I haven't been to since we got the new truck.

Nice little trail to a great viewpoint of Grants Pass and the area of Merlin near I-5. Was up in the clouds a bit today but still had a bit of a view.

Always a fun trail. Nothing too hardcore, but had her in 4low 2nd gear most of the time. Had to go into 1st a couple times when it was really bumpy. Rocky semi-washed out road is bumpy and slow going. Opportunities to pick lines abound.

There are some spots at the lower elevations where dirtbags without 4WD dumped trash and in some instances lit their dumped trash on fire, but once you get to the more gnarly portions their hoopties can't get to it's mostly trash free. I was glad to see at the viewpoint, the folks that were up there shooting shotguns picked all their spent shells up and put them in the firepit.

Anything wider than the Tacoma would risk paint scratches as portions of the trail are rather narrow.

All in all, a fun little trip. About an hour to the top and an hour back to the bottom. Might try an offshoot that looks to end up in a logged out clearcut next time.

Would be a great place for a beginner to learn on and feel like they actually went off-roading.

    Happy Trails!

Got out to enjoy some sunshine the other day, currently planning a day trip to Hershberger Mountain here soon. Only thing is it’s during the week, if anybody is off during the week and would like to join let me know! If you see me in the area give me a wave:wave: always nice to see people from here out in the community.

I am totally naive when it comes to this stuff. Wouldn't even know where to find that. Newest truck I owned before my 2019 was a 94.

It’s not to bad if you have a windows computer I can walk you through it. You have to send a system ID to OV so that back and forth my take a day or two. I think 2019 auto ECU is A71.

I'm out in Merlin/Hugo- just went out to Klamath Falls, Fish Lake area and found some cool trails. Busted a fuel line and scratched up my new rig pretty good but she's running again lol. Would love to connect w/ others in Southern Oregon
