No....Philly has a good deal of fresh al dente spaghetti available

I'm only forced to eat meatballs when hanging with Fred and Ben in Central PA where the pickings are slim, but the women aren't :(

Ever seen a nerd point out an obscure detail that no one cares about while trying to look more intelligent for the effort?

    That's this thread.

It's a f*cking rim. The spokes have been integrated for decades, the hub is no longer part of the main detachable assembly and no one cares about carriage wheels anymore. Rim is a common adaptation of the language and everyone knows what you mean when you say it.

Further, if someone were to keep calling it a "wheel rim" I'd assume they were an idiot that knew nothing about cars and walk away.

Why would I ignore something that's been so entertaining?

    That is a wheel.

According to your own post, the rim refers to the circular outer part of a wheel.

    According to Websters,

Thus, according to your own criteria, this is a wheel...

    And, this is a rim...

However, since this is a truck forum if you walk up and look at dude's truck and say, "Nice Rims"... he's probably going to assume you mean this...

    and not this...

And yes, I understand the hypocrisy of me nerding it up in this thread.

I didn't take any of your posts seriously after you attacked me personally by calling me a nerd and then speculating that I want to sound intelligent in order to impress people in here.

It's the web and I could care less what you think. The people who have posted in here with exception of you understand what the intent of this thread is for....
