    Hey guys. Need help!

My stock tire is 265/65 R17.

Someone is selling 23 TRD Pro OEM wheels and tires. 265/70 R16 with with goodyear wrangler territory tires. Comes with oem tpms sensors and tires filled with nitrogen.

I am really interested but have a few questions.

    1. Comparing sizes above, any of the two tires bigger than the other? Diameter wise?

    2. Can nitrogen be taken out and filled with regular air?

    3. Selling for 1600 without the center cap, is this price good?

thanks in advance for any help!

Google "tire size calculator" to answer your first question.

You can even mix regular air and nitrogen if you wanted, nothing is going to happen...

1500 dollars for a set of stock take-offs and you don't even get the center caps?!?! Never in my life would I spend that amount on STOCK wheels and tires.

    1. They’re the same, just on different rim sizes.

    2. Yes.

    3. seems high to me but I don’t know. Seems like people want to include stock tires and jack the price way up but stock tires relatively suck. So I often don’t agree with the price. So to me, that comes across as just wheels for $1500. But if you’re cool with the stock tires and will run them, then go for it. By stock I don’t care about size, I mean the lame Goodyears.

Btw, I forgot to ask, do the TPMS sensors have to be programmed? How? Is that something only dealership does?

You can move your current sensors to the 'new' wheels and skip programming.

Otherwise, yes, programming will need to be done. But any tire shop should be able to do it. For a fee of course.

I will say the price seems high to me. Especially incomplete. Price those center caps that you'll want to replace.

You can update them in the ecu through techstream or you can buy a not super expensive handheld device. I have both and have used both. Not a difficult process at all.

What’s up with the Nitrogen? Dealer did that to mine acting like it was all special and that.

Also, I’m glad to read that others think Goodyears suck.
Really. My previous daily driver was a Canyon AT4 and the Goodyears were horrible n the wet. Especially with the auto locking rear diff. Retarded setup. Went on the forums to rant about it and they acted like I was cussing out their kids.

Nitrogen is less susceptible to pressure changes in relation to temperature. So when the seasons change and say the temp drops for winter, you are less likely to have low tire pressure because of it. Same for the hot months and high pressure (also less pressure increase due to just driving on the tires because tires heat up while driving)

Regular atmosphere air that you breath is about 78% nitrogen.

For reference, I just paid $700 for new wheels and tires including the spare off a 2023 to put on my 2018. However, I did have to buy new sensors.
