    3 1/2 rough country lift 285/70/17 tires -6mm offset
    Hello,
I’m new to Tacoma world. I just had a 3 1/2 inch lift kit put on 2022 Toyota Tacoma 4wd off-road. Along with it I habe 285/70/17 wild peaks on -6mm offset. Right now I am clear except for rubbing on the frame on the backside of the tire. I’m thinking of maxing out the cam bolts and pushing the controls arms out to fix the issue. Any feedback would be great.i don’t have a pic yet but I will and will upload

Get that lift dropped to 2.5 max, your future self will thank you and it will make it easier to clear that cab mount. But at -6 you will likely want to invest in a cab mount chop along with some extra caster.

That size tire with those wheels have been fit before without rubbing. Have you had the truck aligned at a shop who knows how to align off-road vehicles? Yes, you should be able to push that LCA far enough out to get the tire off the frame, however you may need adjustable UCA's to keep camber in check. If you have had an alignment already, post up the results. You will get flamed for your RC 3.5" lift on here but that isn't the culprit for the rubbing...it'll be the culprit for your CV's going out eventually.
