    Hello All,
I (as you see in the title), am not the owner of this 2015 Tacoma .... The Wife is. I am familiar of course with these forums as I own a Jeep, and do my own work and am on the Boards. Having said that, this is a 2015 2WD Extended Cab. I have installed a leveling kit, back-up camera and remote start. I put on custom wheels and tires, but the wheels are more of a street look versus off road. She (my Wife), has decided that despite the fact this is not a 4WD, she would really like it to look like one. I have been challenged with the wheel offset issues that come with the 2WD in finding something that will fit (15" or 16"), without sticking way out due to the offset.

Additionally, I am looking at installing fender flares to allow for a bit more of an aggressive look, and to be able to get something a little wider in wheels that would not look goofy.

So, can anybody offer some suggestions for wheels (in black), and fender flares that would look good?

Just put some 16x8 SCS F5 on my truck. 4.5" back space and 265/75/16 Duratrac in a C load range.

How aggressive does she want to get?

As aggressive as possible. This is a street truck only (2WD), not a TRD or anything like that. The lift kit I installed was more of a leveling kit.

The fender flares for a 5 lug are the same for a 6 lug. Bushwhackers are typically the way people go. As for rims Ive had 2 sets now
    Our magic numbers are
    5 x 4.5 lug pattern
    4 in BS
0 to -13 ish offset (positive no good)

The first was Mickey Thompson Classic 3s in Silver I did need a 1/4" spacer and extended lug nuts. Now they were -44 offset and didn't really stick out with 235s but with 33s it was too much.

The second set Im running now is Cragar soft 8s with the 1/4" spacer again. These are -13 offset but because the tires are 12.5 in wide they stick out slightly more.

Lol and here is them side by side also showing the difference between 33s and 235s

If you want i got plenty of more pictures lol

I have another question, the front fender liners have a protrusion on the cab side lower portion molded into the liner. I am told it may be for front mud flaps? Can anyone confirm if there is something mounted behind the liner that would be necessary for this? It will cause a rubbing issue when I install different wheels with a more negative offset. I would like to cut it out as long as it is not something critical.

It's for the black boxes which limits 5 lug wheel size unless removed. Easy to ubolt and the plastic is pushed back with a heat gun.

Great to know .... thanks !!!! I assume then that I have to disconnect that side of the liner to get behind it, remove the box and then re-attach the liner?
