So about ready to pickup my 2022 TRD Off Road (4 door, 6' bed).

Eventually I want to run LT285/70R17s on it.

Looking at wheels (and trying to figure out spacing) I get:

    Stock Wheel
    16" Wheel
    7" width
    25 front spacing
    7.5" equals 190.5mm
    Center equals 95mm
Plus positive offset = 120mm of wheel inside disk flange

    New Wheels:

    17" Method Wheel
    8.5" width
    4.5 back spacing
    (is this inches or mm?)
    8.5" equals 216mm
    Center equals 108.
Subtract back spacing = 103.5mm of wheel inside disk flange (if 4.5 is in mm)
If the 4.5 is in inches, then is it 114mm from the front??? That gives me 101mm inside the wheel well.

Since I am really not a wiz at offset, back spacing etc. Do these numbers seem right? Essentially with the Method wheel I will get 17mm to 7mm of inside clearance?

Going to run these with likely a Bilstien 3" lift as I don't off road much and really don't need the big mega adjustable shocks like fox. What I do is go to the beach and fish, so I want a wider footprint on the sand only. I don't crawl on rocks, I don't go fast off road and I don't go into mud if I can avoid it. Just sand, often deep and soft. I would likely run a 285/55 if I could find one in Load C or above.

I have a fishing trip in September and will give the stock wheels and tires a chance to show me what they can do on the beach and deep sand, but in the long run I am likely to put on some slightly wider meat.
