I’m wondering if I should put bigger tires and a leveling kit on my Tacoma or 3 inch lift with tires? What size tires? What do you guys have?

I did a 3 inch lift in the front 2 in the back (Ready lift spacer/block lift).
285/75/16 on the OEM OFFROAD wheels with 1.5 inch spacers

 

Im still stock on mine. If you're gonna lift it, do a tire and lift set up at the same time. I almost made the mistake of installing a 3inch lift with stock wheels and tires (all seasons I think).

 

I’m doing it just want to see which one would be better!

this is a before and after. First picture was at the dealer when I took delivery of my Tacoma.

 

Oh and currently I’m running a 3” Fox w/resi’s and front adjusters, TC UCA’s, Dakar leaf pack on BFG KO2 33”s.

 

3” w/ tires one time. I’d go coilovers & leafs also. Do it right the first time.

 

You might want to go with 2 inch front and 1 inch rear like I did. Not a requirement, just a though after doing a fair of research.

 

No spacers, no blocks. Just say NO. Bilstein 5100s at a minimum.

 

Lifts are dumb, stock is where its at. Just run 255/85-16 tires with completely stock suspension and drive the shit out of the truck.
