I am new to this thread and have tried searching without any luck.. I have recently purchased aftermarket wheels for my truck. The wheels came off of a chevy and I have always heard they fit but they do not due to the hub size is way different. Is there a spacer or an adapter of any sort to help with this? Thank you,

    Asher

What year is you truck? Is it a 2 or 4 wheel drive if it's a 05 or newer 4x4 here's a good baseline just look for (6x5.5 and 16x8/17x8) with a 0 offset and 4.0-4.5 backspacing. You can shy away the offset slightly meaning a -12 or so but I wouldn't chance it I'm not a 100% sure on that either someone else may know

the lug patterns are the same, but yah, it's the center bore that is off... Chevy center bore is smaller than yota, so the only option is to have it drilled out, though, i don't think i have ever heard of anyone doing that...

i would think messing with the wheel that way could be sketch if not done correctly...

oh wait.. just re-read that the wheels are aftermarket... the center bore should be universal enough to clear... since you already bought the wheels, go and do a test fit before mounting tires on them...
