Just looking for some opinions between these two wheels. Any pics of these would be cool too, or if you prefer a different wheel let me know.... and the tires will be Bfg A/T 275/65/18 with bilstein 5100s set at 1.75....

If you must go with a black rim, i would stay away from the goofy looking 'Rockstars'.

get your flat brim ball cap, wallet chain, dickies shorts and black socks with a duck walk on and then you're ready for the rockstars. lol

question tho.. why 18's? do you only drive street?

anyways, when I wear out the tires I have now, I will be getting some rims from wheelers, they kinda look like the procomp ones you posted but steel and all black.
    good luck

Not a big fan of either, but I definitely think the ProComps look better.

I had the 8179's on my '01 in 16" diameter. They were 4" backspacing and tried to swap them onto my '09 but they hit the calipers (not in the radial direction but in the axial direction). Spacers would have solved that but I ended up selling them before I realized it. They are really nice looking wheel. Not sure if a different backspacing would help or the 18" size for that matter.

The Pro Comp's were my second choice. I went with XD Addicts instead. Glad I did. As for the Rockstars, not a fan.

I really dig the rockstars, but as noted above there are a lot of posers and "bros" that have em. Then again I wear a flat brim hat, have a wallet chain, and sport my ink. Maybe I'm a poser?

I like the rockstars. I don't give a f*ck what "type" of crowd sports them. I like them so I'd sport them. maybe not on silver, but I think it would look good black on black.
