wheels stained?

    yo!.....im fixing up this car for my nephew and it was trashed.... anyhow...i was cleaning the wheels and can't seem to get these spots underneath all the grime off....i pre treated with a wheel cleaner and then just soap, water, and hella elbow grease.... is there a chemical that will get this off or is it stained for good?....thanks guys!

    Try a nylon scrub pad with bit of Simple Green (undiluted). Easy pressure.

    What kind of wheel cleaner did you use? I’ve had success with products that have decontaminants/iron removers (turns purple when it reacts with the built up grime) and a brush. May need to go a couple rounds though, looks to be really caked on.

    Spray Nine and a scrub brush. I’ve tried every wheel cleaner most stores carry and they only seem to be as effective as normal dish soap/water. Worked perfect on a 2013 RAV that was never washed ever. The wheels are looking new. The cleaner is not super toxic or risky to use.
