Screenshot_20240415_163627_Facebook.jpgPicked up a set of these stock wheels at a reasonable price this week with the intentions of painting them bronze. Once I actually picked them up I starred second guessing myself because they look pretty good the way they are. Anybody happen to have painted or dipped theirs bronze and have any photos to share?

I’ve bolted some stuff to it *lists cool stuff here*
Meh unless you are really going to blast and prep then either paint with an automotive quality finish or powder coat, doubtful painting them bronze will look very good after only a short time..

100% agree. The factory finish will be tougher than anything you can do other than a professional level powder coat or painting. If they're not trashed already I'd leave 'em as-is.

I would clean them up and hit them with a matching rattle can to give them a fresh look. Wouldn't bother changing the color anything beyond that. They are stock wheels and slightly worth more than scrap value.

I like the stock black rims, clean them up and put some nice off road tires on them.

I say give it a try...

I rattle canned some wheels many years ago. (Properly cleaned and primed them...)

They lasted quite a few years looking great until I sold the car.

AND Paint is much better these days...

I agree ... paint them. Black is boring and I really like the thought of seeing them bronze
