When a rusted Tacoma goes beyond repair

If your Tacoma pickup develops frame rust, Toyota will repair the damage and extend the body warranty to 15 years and unlimited miles, free of charge. If you do nothing, it may mutate into this:

This Tacoma owner discovered his own rust. Everything, from the Autocar dump truck-inspired nose to its sleek, middle-school tech shop fenders, is custom. Hey, look, there's even brown metal covering the windows to give it that "chopped" Chrysler 300 effect.

But there's plenty of taste going on here. Just look at how well the Infinti FX45 tailgate and taillamps blend with those hammered bed flares. Those are chrome-tipped exhausts, too.
We're guessing there's even more handiwork under that World War I hood, if it's not welded shut. Some serious rearrangement of the fluid reservoirs and radiator have to be in order. There's also the widened rear axle, and for the ladies, two rather delicate running boards. And maybe we're just seeing things at this point, but is that oval hole in the grill there to attach a starter crank?

Next time this beauty parks in Boston, we may find out. Hopefully we won't.

Found this from an Internet search! I don't care if it's a four year old thread, this is funny as hell! :D
