How much lift can I add to my 2012 Tacoma on the stock UCAs and be able to stay within alignment? I am looking to buy the Ironman lift, which adds 2", but don't have the budget to afford UCAs.

If that won't work, I will get 5100s and do a smaller lift.

    Thanks

People say 3" is when you need to replace the UCAs.

You'll be fine with 2" lift....... I had 2" on my 1st gen. I've known people to have 3" lifts and never needed UCA's (on 1st gens many years).

Didn't need them when I had 3" spacer lift......they're really only needed for extended length coilovers for more travel and/or in the event you can't get enough caster out of your alignment.

    You will be fine!

I think your optimal word is "need". You don't need UCAs, but most would agree that anything over 2.5" and you need to get optimal alignment. If you don't care about your alignment numbers then you don't need... I was still good at 2.25".
