Funny when I posted a week ago its going to be 270 HP bunch of turds argued that no way Toyota is going to have less HP than Colorado. Where are you now?
    What happened ?
    :D
1 Towing capacity less - check
    2 HP less - check

If you missed fan boys heads exploding just wait for torque numbers

And final blow will be MPG

i have been getting on TW for years just reading, never been a member tell recently. i have to say, i have seen OZ-T post some of the most smartass comments on this forum. guess all canadians are fuck holes. eehhhhhhh oooooooooooo.

I am happy with 270. my wife has the 2015 trail 4runner with around the same hp numbers, and its enough for me. 23 REAL mpg on the hwy id be happy with in the 2016. shit, i tow 2 atvs on a 900pound trailer through the arkansas mountains with a 2.7 5 speed prerunner with now problems. power isnt everything, i want toyota quality

Its more HP than 1GR because it will spool up higher.. (higher RPM peak)
Does not mean its going to have more Torque...

I'm guessing about 255 ft lbs of torque. =/ New Honda Pilot is 280 hp 262 ft lbs of torque. Kind of sad Toyota had to do it this way. You would think the Prius helps them with their overall CAFE score.

We should create a thread compiling questions we want the Canadian member to pay attention to when test driving so he comes back with info we want...

Nope. Highlander is a 2GR-FE (non-D4S). The 2GR-FKS will make more than 270ft-lb which will mean it effectively has the same torque and power as the updated 1GR and with less friction and the ability to run Atkinson cycle.
