I hope you are going to post an introduction thread...and that you read the laws. Abandoned property actaully can be claimed- Using the right process.

And I hope you read better in general than you did here-cause the OP said he's leaving it right where it is.

that means it would have ben put there in 2005 right?
who the fuck would go out and buy(or steal) a brand new(at the time) tacoma and flip it over in the desert and just leave it there in a restricted area?

and on a side note where exactly is it? ill go out there with a chain and drag it to a unresctricted area and share the parts with ya
i just want that rear axle :D

Again- Wrong. Check out some abandon property/salvage laws. After an object has been left for X number of days/month/years (5 years in AZ) it can be claimed by whoever finds it- Using the proper method (which usually requires a report to the local police and a published notice of intent to claim abandoned property. It requires that the original owner (the insurance company by this point I'm sure- make their interest in having the property back in writing etc etc...complying with local/state law)

And no...I wouldn't say we are uber sensitive around here- We try to keep it reasonably civil which you managed to blow right past. Hope you enjoy the board...

Let me guess. Heatstroke's from TTORA?

I would suggest that changing one's tact in their postings here would be more in line with what THIS community is about.

You may not agree with what was posted by the OP or others in this thread but there are better more non abrasive ways to get your point across.

It would appear you are off to a good start here and if that doesn't bother you well then you are more than welcome to leave.

I took a quick read at the laws...but I just did a quick look so I could be wrong...If you've done recoveries...You must be right.

Usually we are nice- When you show up throwing a tantrum like you did...all bets are off. You might have made a few friends with it...but  It's your world...Do what you like.

    Made quick work of himself . . . . .

Anway, I grew up in Tempe right there (more or less) by ASU on Broadway and Rural. There was always stories popping up about people finding vehicles out in the desert or on the rez in big ass pits or shafts. One time they pulled out an almost new Suzuki Samuri. Obviously a joyride and dump. The desert makes people crazy I tell you. Not completely on topic but interesting enough. :D
