    It's pretty bad when douche-canoes that are more concerned with the validity of your story instead of technical advice keep you from reading all of your own thread.

    The story is true. But I'm glad some folks had fun with it, I'll be honest - I got a chuckle.

    There are two ways that I'm going to go about it. 1) Get more quotes and weigh them. 2) Try to find a new door and get it painted. If both are too far out of my out-of-pocket price range, then I'll claim it on my insurance and hate myself for a long time.
