Yes they are, obviously dividend payments can change but during the COVID crash they barely changed.

I was hashing out my favorite bitcoin example, that $100 bills each have a serial # and if you wrote down the serial # every time it was transferred from one person to another...that's like the block chain.

I have had a nice run on it, yes.

 

I dunno, I definitely hear you that they’re essentially too big to care about even a loud complaint from the civilians but there seems to be more and more push lately to entice you to turn in your old console for a rebate or whatever.
People now understand that turning in your old hardware means losing access permanently to a lot of content because it will be vaulted or pay gated and micro transactions are getting old.

With that being said
I haven’t purchased a new console since the Xbox one came out with their nicest slim that still had disk drive.
And my PS4 that I got right when the PS5 dropped

 

The new Xbox handheld is rumored to drop at twice the price of the s2 but you no longer need a monthly subscription to gamepass as it runs steam. Which means no monthly Xbox subscription.

Read an article a while back and I can’t remember if it was a 10Q or what but it was mentioning Xbox potentially pivoting from gamepass to steam. That tidbit wasn’t supposed to be disclosed at that time and was redacted after the fact but it was too late.

Game pass has its pros and cons but personally I hate the monthly subscription fee.
