Doesn't Toyota give you a free 100000 mile warranty if you purchase a used vehicle with under 100000 miles? I know they do this in California. Call the Dealer and ask them if you have an extended warranty NOW!

I had a 350z that had issues close to 110000 miles. No one including the salesman who sold it to me with 3k miles on it told me i had a 110000 mile warranty. I was so pissed i got rid of it as it could have saved me 6k in some repairs it needed. I was 100 miles over 110000 and the service advisor told me i should have used the warranty and i was like HUH?! Wasn't gonna drop that amount of $$ in it.

Lets say you decide to trade it in. DENY the extended warranty while dealing with the sales man. once you get the numbers you like (This was the case with the last 5 vehicles I have purchased from a Toyota dealership) and head off to the office where you sign you life away they will ask you again if you want the extended warranty. Tell them it will make the payment too high. they will drop the interest rate to compensate for the warranty while keeping the payment the same or really close to it.

That's all the advice i have.

So, it's gone. And this is exactly what I did. I got 29K trade in for it, I paid 32K for it and drove it for 12 months and so 15K miles. I bought a Certified Pre Owned Colorado LT, 4x4 Duramax Diesel

    That was fast!

After your experience used, I'd have expected a new purchase. But good luck with the Chevy!

From one IT guy to another.....

How many Miles did you have when you traded it in? I have a 2016 sr5 4x4 just like yours with exactly 25k miles on it? 29k Trade in is NICE!

Both I and my wife already have a new 4runner. I want to DUMP the Tacoma and get a 370Z as they are just right under 30k. I bought a 350z back in 2005 that i drove for 10 years and it was just under 30k back then. Price hasn't changed in 14 years!

    Thanks!

    Edit

Never mind I see you were at 21k miles.

    Thanks!

It had 21K on it. The Colorado has 26K, It is a 2017, and I paid 31K for it. It is loaded up, has some neat stuff, like built in brake control that you control from the LCD display, since I pull a camping trailer, this will be a nice addition. The additional 1K of towing capacity ought to be nice, and nobody is going to bitch about built in Nav and Apple Carplay, and leather seats, 18" wheels, and so on...

    Oahu, Hi
Maybe see how much you you'll get for trade in or private sale and buy a newer Tacoma.

Don't know, only drove it home from the dealer. Then I got pretty drunk so won't be driving it tonight. But it was very easy when cruising to keep the instant mpg gauge well into the 30's
