I think people are getting confused between fog lights and brights/high beams. Whose stock fog lights are bright enough to blind oncoming traffic?

And the yellow tint has a purpose. The LEDs are too bright for foggy conditions and the light scatters across the particles in the air where as yellow tinted LEDs and regular halogens don’t and actually illuminate further in foggy conditions. There are multiple videos online demonstrating this with everything from fog to dust. That’s why a lot of the race trucks you see will have a series of yellow and blue chase lights, and many will run yellow floods up front, just cuts through the dust better.

My LED fogs in my Chevrolet are 100watt 6k. They will certainly blind people. They’re project further than my low beams do.

Oh no the stocks suck haha. I will say the new body style trucks do have crazy bright ones. But they’re fine because they’re pointed directly at the ground.

It seriously irks me that these new vehicles are being produced with LED projector headlights, shits too bright, looks like everyone is driving around with their brights on.

But the bright ones pointed at the ground makes sense. They are adjusted correctly therefore you can run them 24/7 365

Some are better than others. The Audi's are super bright and have a very clean cut off.

But that Audi, you’d expect that. I’m talking about Hyundai and Honda, and Chevrolet, oh and Ferd…

I've driven several Audi's. A3, A4, Q3, Q5, SQ5, Q7. They all ride like poo imo. Too much road noise and drive clapped out after about 20k miles. Lotsa tech though.

I use my KC Gravity amber fogs at two very different times. When visibility is bad with particulates in the air and when I am driving though packed parking lots.

I had a ‘12 Q5 for a few years, rear main seal, turbo, oil separator, O2 sensors, and alternator shit out all within a month of each other. I fixed it and traded it in on my Tacoma…will say tho I miss that little momma rocket. I took that thing places it was never intended to go, slapped some Falken Wildpeak trails on it and a 1” lift, she was fun while she lasted.
