I have never heard or seen anyone utilize the turn signal to alert those behind you that someone in front of you is turning? I have driven on 3 continents and all over North America and have never, ever seen or heard of this. Where exactly are people driving this way?

give them a brake if you werent going 75, it wouldnt be an issue. seriously though we would never get any where, because cars will not give trucks a brake.

My stepdad used to drive trucks. I have a lot of respect for them. I will allow them to come over whenever possible, and I use my lights to signal they have clearance when they want to change back over to the right lane and I am there.

    agree!
lots of places around here(out side the city) are 55 for trucks and 65 or 70 for cars, so doing 70 or 75 when trucks cut you off doing 60 is not uncommon and put in all the hills we have most the time they can’t make the pass they where wanting to do.

as long as you can make the pass i don’t mind if i have to slow down for 1min or so, but don’t try and take 10min just to slow down and get back behind the truck you where just behind. also don’t just drive in the left lane and stay doing 60mph when everyone around you can legally go 10 or 15mph faster than you. I respect truckers and try and give them extra room if i can, and if i see one with a blinker on(very rare that they even use one at all) if i’m behind them i’ll slow down and et them over, if i’m next to them i’ll try and speed up so they can get over.

I've seen it in several Midwest states.

How about this one... Several times I've witnessed cars/trucks I'm following use the opposite direction traffic lane as the left deceleration lane. For example, headed north on a north/south two land hi-way a car turning left (if the south bound lane is clear) will move into the south bound lane to allowing the north bound traffic (behind him) to pass on the right. I was not cool with this at all the first time I saw it.
