I can see why you got stuck, you're missing a tire.

Well, more importantly, you're missing telling us the story.

    As you wish:

I did a cross country road trip (7,150 miles).
I was camping off national park roads most of the trip and found what I assumed would be the same in South Dakota
Was deep in Black Hills National forest (these trails were extremely rocky), far from main roads with no cell service, and a rock must have clipped the valve stem and down went the tire. I was by myself and the entire time I was in there (a good 12 hours in the end), I never saw another person.
Went to change it, but the lock lug key splintered when I went to loosen the very first lug (that was the only one I had, and no socket set which I may have been able to work with).
Drove for MILES to get to a spot where I had service through rough terrain, knowing I would destroy the rim, but felt that was my best option.
Never got to the main road because I then got stuck after the shredded tire finally said goodbye- spent 5 hours trying to free myself, no luck.
Stayed up all night then called the local police station the following morning and they arranged a tow truck.
After loading it up, took 45 minutes for the tow truck to reach the main road (5 miles)

    $510 for the tow
Tire Shop just put a comparable tire on the spare rim and mounted that (still $260)

It was pretty scary there for a hot minute, but at least I survived and I will never put myself in that situation again.

And yes, I regret not going 4wd, even though I live in Florida.

Side note: I drove home close to 2,000 miles on that spare rim/tire and it held up well.

TL;DR: I'm an idiot and put myself in a terrible situation which could have ended much worse.
