    its all what you use it for most... My reality is I dont offroad nearly as much (or basically at all these days) as i used to, but I do have to do dump runs, or move crap, or loads of basecourse, or my favorite.... Carcamping with the wife, 2 kids, a dog, two boats and a whole bunch of unnecessary crap!!! ( i'll be monitoring the packing closer next time)... it was fun tho, except packing and unpacking...

    BTW I second the thought that its not really a LB its just a 'normal' truck bed....

    Very happy with the short bed.

    If i made a living hauling plywood / sheetrock then i would be concerned

    but the long bed just sucks for parking lots,
    i sometimes feel the short bed sticks out a little in some lots

    No I was thinking of the long bed DC vs shortbed DC. But thats a good point.

    Yup just the other day, getting top soil for the lawn!! It was $65 a truck load wether it was a fullsize or my taco. I think I got screwed!!
