    I vaguely remember something like that. Wow... that's really stretching the memory but I do remember it.

    And a look back at what we grew up with compared to today explains a LOT of what we see in society.
    We had to be smart to survive, or at least retain all of our limbs and digits :D

    I was never any good at tops.
    Was fair at yo-yos, but never could do any of the really sweet tricks that required a LONG "sleeper".

    Like I said... I wasn't good at all with tops, but a friend was an ace.
    He could get the thing spinning, pop it up into his hand, and pass it to his other hand behind his back, under his leg, however... then back onto the sidewalk.

    I always accused him of cheating using magnets, but I always knew he was just flat out good.

    A bud of mines kid can show the fuck out with a yo-yo. I didn't even know the're was such a thing as "off the string tricks", yeah, the string isn't even tied to the yo-yo... He's got a tackle box full of yo-yos, strings and all kinds of shit.

    my dad used to bring us like a dozen tops from mexico each week...we played a 2 player game were one spins and the other attempted to hit the head of the spinning top and break it in half...I was a beast at that...

    wow, this is the kind of shit I would bring back from Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico..My families tradition was to go over there and spend 3 weeks at our beach house during the summer...i miss that house. I miss that tradition...oh well...
