I'll send in a pic in a second but one of my favorite things when I was a kid was this little wooded gun that has a working trigger and a piece of wood on the trigger so when you pulled the trigger it made a clicking sound. It stayed a my grandad's house so when I would go over my family and I and sometimes the neighborhood kids would have mock wars in the yard.

Unfortunely alot of toys that we all used to play with would get you into serious trouble in todays society. Kinda sad that our youth is so... I dont know how to put it, Sheltered?

Lite-Brite!!! Yes! Win. and Lincoin logs, Hell i miss playing with Legos!

They are retarded and have a serious lack of imagination. Kid's today can't have fun without electronics and can't play like we did.

I remember throwing rocks at eachother, It used to scare the shit out of me cause i knew it was gonna hurt like a bitch. nowadays if your kid chucks a rock at another kid and hits him, Chances are your ass is getting sued and i bet your kid gets charged too.

I babysat a couple kids not too long ago and they just kinda waited for stuff to happen, their toys all entertain them. They didn't seem to know how to just imagine they were somewhere/something else and go with it. I remember my cousins and I would be out in the woods until way after dark, running around barefoot, and our parents didn't worry about it one bit. They'd probably get arrested for it now. We just used our imaginations, did whatever we wanted to do. We spent a whole summer on a tropical island, right there on the old family farm (it's about 30 acres of forest now. You can't beat that for fun). Camped out more nights than not. We'd come home bruised and scratched up, covered in mud and poison ivy rash, and smiling about it. That's where you learn you don't need all those toys to have a day of awesome.

Not that I didn't love my pogoball!

And do they still sell these?

we lived in a neighborhood so shooting .22 would be a bad idea. lol
    i loved that.
true! they are very sheltered! hell most parents don’t spank their kids with a hand or let alone a belt! lol i got the belt some. one time i tried putting a small book or something so it would not hurt as bad. well mom hit me and found out and i got in even more trouble. lmao. and most kids now think they are going to die when mommy and daddy take their phone a way for a few days/week.

i still play with legos when i can.:anonymous:

my parents and older brothers moved to a neighborhood right before i was born like 2 weeks. lol. we use to run free and do what ever we wanted. some times in summer i would not go in the house till like 1am and stuff. run thru neighbors yards with flash lights at 11pm. we made up this game. called man hunt. lol(something kids now a days are to damn lazy to think of) well you had teams usually like 2,3, and if someone had a party 4 or 6 to a team. well you the teams split up. and took off running. well other team had to go find the one team. their was about 98 house or so with a few empty lots. their was no boundaries. one time the cops came. and found one of the teams. lmao. and asked what we wear doing. i was on that team and told him. he said ok have fun.

I remember i used to run around with friends til 1 even 2am sometimes and i was only 12-13 at the time, At that time you didnt have to worry about some weirdo snatching up your kids or other weird nasty shit that has happened in the past couple years.
