Woah. Wait a minute. People do it all the time without removing the AC bracket. It just takes a wobble joint and some concentration.

All the OEM parts, the painstaking care in tracking it, this was a labor of love dude. And yeah, as someone said before it's too late to make that call. Just enjoy the truck and all its fresh parts for as many miles as you can.

OP, honestly, if i had it to do over and could've found one for a reasonable price that wasn't beat on by a 16 yr old for $4500 or owned by the same family since new for $12.5 i would've bought a used older one and done all the same and probably more just like you..i say enjoy it man, it'll bring you more happiness knowing what is fixed, and what you would like to be done versus going on a date and have something go wrong and then have to play catch up on all of it which would then seem never ending.. having an '18 is cool and all but in reality what does mine do that yours couldn't? don't get me wrong i love my truck and (to me) its worth every penny everyone around my area thinks they have a lump of gold hidden somewhere in their POS or they have the next Barrett-Jackson record holder only because they've had it in the same family for 25 yrs doesn't mean it runs and drive worth a shit..don't worry about the dollars and cents man, its all relative in the big picture...enjoy the truck and post up some pics

All the dollars. Any amount of maintenance still beats a $500 a month car payment. I'm sure someone else already said this.

@vettehigh what are your thoughts, how do you feel about seat maintenance
this is the issue (one of a few) I am now currently facing and dealing with, already put some good cash into it a couple weeks ago attempting to fix inner problem(s),
and its not TOTALLY fixed for me to feel safe to drive it anymore
maybe this warrants me not to keep it, i dunno

say if your seat becomes a 'chore' and just get so fed up with it, what to do?
I think you have AT? so you might not have similar situation as I have going on currently with MT

It’s a good question OP and good opinions out there, the way I see things is how much cost to keep it for month while you own it, obviously the best car or truck is the one that is paid off, but for sure maintenance is require for everything... I feel like sharing my list of $25,000 investment on this truck; if I keep it 10 yrs then at this point I'm looking at 208 monthly / 7 dollars a day ... anyway ... It's just a thing that I like to see co$t, but like someone already said it... "I have to stop counting...

It's never enough so long as you plan to keep it. Don't tally up what you spend cause you aren't going to get that money back.

OP, you have way too much invested in it now to give up. Like others have said you have what amounts to a nearly new truck you should enjoy it. You’re still about 1/3 of what a new replacement would run you. And what’s he alternative? Park it? Then you just wasted a boatload of money. Sell it? Not likely recoup what you’ve spent. Drive it. Enjoy it.

Just did some quick figuring on the odo on John’s post. 595,000 miles. Rough equivalent of driving around the world 5 times and then driving to the moon and back. Wow. NASA should start launching Tacomas
