I think the ScanGauge II is a neat device, but how often is it insufficient for troubleshooting purposes? There's a LOT more data available if you use a computer (software) interface. I'm wondering how often you guys run into this problem -- you have a ScanGauge, but the data you need can't be accessed?

Trying to decide whether to buy a ScanGauge II or a software/cable bundle.

    Thanks!
