    Thanks everyone!

Having to pay for the deductible has me starting over saving for tires...just being in the wrong place at the right time can really cost you!

I know how you feel. My truck goes in in a few weeks to get a bunch of hail damage, not as bad as that but it still sucks.

Dude, what do you mean about the spicing pillars? Are you talking about the panels that support the roof on the corners? If so, you're ok with that?

WOW! I would have had a heart attack if that happened to my truck. I would consider myself a perfectionist as well. So there is no orange peel type of reflection on the paint? No pieces of lint stuck on the paint? No overspray in the wheel well? It looks like you didn't get 09 headlights and parking lights. Congrats on the hood. I'm sure glad it worked out.

Yes, splicing as in they cut out the old pillars (between doors and roof) and welded in new ones. The old ones were so dented they'd have been 100% bondo. You cannot find any of these joints, even in the door jam.

No orange peel, no lint, no over spray. All panel lines are nice and even, everything lines up correctly.

Also, it's just a truck...We were lucky we made it to the truck for cover. A lot of people were stuck in the woods during the storm.

Just wondering...How do you know all the pannels are new? I was told they put new pannels on a truck of mine, and I rolled a small magnet along the damaged area. The magnet stuck in some parts, then fell off on the damaged area....Indicative of bondo work. I could never tell, as the job was well done, but I was just wondering. :)

I went and saw it a couple times while they were working on it... The roof was out and a new one was being put in, the new door skins were just going on, the new pillars had been welded on and welds ground smooth, and the hood is an easy one. The only parts that I didn't see were the fender and the bedside. To bondo those two and not the rest would have been silly, as those are the easiest to replace.
