When my divorce is finalized I'm getting a Taco

Stock (99.999%) OEM Bed Floor Mat, OEM Front Bed Rail Cargo Net and hooks, OEM Gentex Auto-Dim mirror w/Compass and Outside Temperature Display, TRD Pro Grille, Uni-Filter air pump modification, WeatherTech floor liners f/r. (winter), OEM All Weather Floomats (summer).
You can't go wrong purchasing a 2012-2015 2nd gen "refresh" Tacoma. You'll pay a significant premium for a 2015 though, with the only real difference being basically they removed the beloved signature digital clock below the radio and put on the touch screen.

The 1GR-FE V6 and the 2.7L 4 cyl are proven, mature and virtually bullet proof. Likewise for the Aisin A750 automatics. They're not as "refined" maybe as the current 3rd gen units, but who needs refined? I'll take "clunky and bullet proof". Folks here complained about the 3rd gen automatic for about three years before it finally settled down with a multitude of software updates. Scrutinize the service records, inspect the frame and trust your gut.

I would try out as many tacos as possible before settling down with just one. :anonymous:

Yeah I know, it doesn't always work. I'm going on 40 years here, and I still chase her around the house!

tons of16/ 17s on here with 6 digits on the odometers and not a lick of trouble including mine. I've also seen a number of 18,19 and 20+ rigs with catastrophic engine failure with almost no miles. the biggest thing on the older 3rd Gens was sorting out the poor Transmission mapping with TSB's and tunes, don't be deterred

Yeah, I'm a bit slower than I used to be, but there's still plenty of gas left in the tank. She's a smoking hot trophy wife so it's worth the effort! And by the time she lets me catch her the V is kicking in, so we got that going for us!

OP: I hope things stay civil and I hope you get a new truck!
